Stayed at the Wagon Wheel during the off-season great rates and a nice quiet stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was the ice machine not working, but the girl at the front desk went out of her way to grab ice from her office for me, which was super kind. Would definitely stay again. Towels also made me and my spouse laugh.

Our stay was great. It was a nice place to sleep and close to all the locations we wanted to explore. It was a cozy stay and the woman I was communicating with was very friendly. The motel room itself was a little old and not well lit. They did a nice job decorating but you can tell there are some fixes that need to be done. But hey, overall, I would recommend it to someone, it’s just a cozy affordable place to stay.

We stayed here as a central location for several stops we were making in southern Maine as part of a trek through New England and Wagon Wheel was easily the favorite place we stayed! The funky vintage motor lodge vibes are immaculate and that staff are so kind and helpful. Our room was clean, the beds were really comfortable, and we loved having the pool to cool off in after a busy day exploring. If we ever find ourselves in Maine again we will certainly be including a stay at Wagon Wheel in the itinerary.

Just checked out after a couple nights with my sister and nieces. Amber was great, and although busy, responded promptly and professionally to any of our needs. We stayed in a queen cabin, which was kept nice and clean, had comfortable beds, and was stocked with mostly everything we needed (we just had to ask for a couple extra towels) The room was modern and spacious and the kitchenette was an awesome addition! Overall great stay!

What a hidden gem! We stumbled upon the Wagon Wheel Motel completely by accident…and let me tell you, it was the best mistake we could’ve made. My girlfriend and I were just driving by when the charming cabins caught our eye, so we decided on a whim to book a stay. By sheer luck, when I called to make the reservation, Amber picked up the phone, and she was amazing. Super friendly, incredibly patient, and answered all my questions without missing a beat. She got us all set up with a cozy cabin, and during our stay, she even took our calls on her work cell to help with anything we needed. The cabin itself was adorable, quaint, spotless, and full of character. And guess what? It was Amber who cleaned it too! Seriously, is there anything this woman doesn’t do at the motel? She’s a total rockstar and made our stay that much better. If you're ever passing through, do yourself a favor and stay here. Total hidden treasure!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Wagon Wheel Motel in Saco, Maine. From the moment we arrived, the front desk manager, Amber, made us feel right at home. She was incredibly prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable about the property and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We stayed in room 1 and it was super spacious! The in-room jacuzzi and private balcony really elevated the experience. I also really appreciated the walk-in closet and large vanity area in the bathroom. It made getting ready so much more convenient and comfortable, with plenty of space to keep our things organized and out of the way. The whole place was super clean, colorful, and had a lovely funky/retro vibe. We got to relax by the pool and even had the option to grill outside. It's also in a great location—really quick drive to Old Orchard, where we went for breakfast. Overall, The Wagon Wheel Motel exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Saco area!

Absolutely stellar service from Amber!! She was more than kind, friendly, bubbly, helpful and accommodating throughout my entire stay. There was even the cutest towel swans and towel elephant in my room to greet me upon arrival. The room was very clean and very quiet. There was ample parking and only a 4 minute drive to Starbucks’s and 10 minute drive to the pier. I had made an error at checkout and Amber was more than helpful, understanding and patient with me. Truly can’t say enough kind things about Amber and my stay. Her service definitely made the experience that much better, she made us feel like regulars even though it was our first time there. Definitely will be coming back for next years OOB trip.

Thank you so much for a fantastic room. The elephant towel sculpture and the how the towels were placed in the bathroom were a great touch. When I stay at the beach motels they always smell moldy and it looks like the massive charge for the room is never put back into the motel. Your motel is not like that at all. The room smelled and was very clean and the decorations were so fun. Thank you for taking time to make our room a delight. We will be back and so will my friends and family!
